All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.

First Consultation

Our initial appointment with Dr. Greeff will consist of an examination, explanation of your diagnosis and treatment options.

In some cases, surgery can be performed on the same day as the examination. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment.

For wisdom teeth, dental implants and other procedures, a second appointment is scheduled for surgery.

Information we need

To assist in making your initial appointment as effective as possible, please provide the following information:

  • Your surgical referral slip and any applicable x-rays
  • A list of medications you are currently taking
  • Medical and dental insurance documentation and completed forms

Prior to Surgery

A preoperative consultation and physical examination is mandatory for patients undergoing IV anesthesia. Please do not have anything to eat or drink for eight hours prior to surgery. You will also need an adult to drive you home following your procedure.

Please alert our office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, etc. Dr. Greeff should also be made aware of any medication you are currently taking.
